Footage of the operation where 10 people were arrested has been published, while the names of the people who were arrested have also been revealed.
It is learned that today the following were arrested: Emirel Tusha, Leandro Haxhiaj, Fabricio Berberi, Rikardo Hajdaraj, Visar Murati, Kevin Farruku, Geraldo Muraj, Adriano Shehu.
Meanwhile, on May 1, Altin Pajaziti and Kadri Prushi were arrested.
Two other citizens identified as RK, 41 years old, and AN, 24 years old, have also been announced as wanted.
Investigations suspect that these citizens, after obtaining firearms mainly in Kosovo but also in various cities in Albania, brought them to Tirana to sell.
Investigations have revealed that this group mainly procured weapons in Kosovo and then transported them to Tirana for sale.
During a search of the apartment of one of the detainees, KF, 2,077 cannabis seeds were found and seized, indicating possible links of the group to the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics.
During the checks carried out as part of the investigation, the following were seized:
14 firearms (12 pistols, one of them with a silencer, and 2 automatic rifles)
2077 cannabis seeds
Combat ammunition and combs
3 vehicles
8 mobile phones
