Details have emerged from the fight between two groups yesterday evening in Bilisht, where two of them were injured.
It is suspected that the fight started due to a debate over the division of money earned from the illegal activity of smuggling goods.
It is learned that several people were involved in last night's fight, and one of them was injured with a knife. After the attack, the injured person pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the attackers.
The police have arrested a 39-year-old man and a 37-year-old man in the act. The latter, after a social conflict with a vehicle, the 2 citizens involved in the fight, who hit the 39-year-old again and damaged his vehicle.
Also, criminal proceedings are being filed against the 2 citizens who clashed with the 39-year-old. Police have seized the knife suspected of being used in the injury and 2 vehicles.
How did the fight start?
Trajan Çeliku, known by the police as a problematic person, along with two other people, raped a 39-year-old man with the initials GM. It is reported that this was not the first time that the perpetrators were involved in a conflict with the 39-year-old.
During the fight, the 39-year-old stabbed him after the attack. It is learned that after treatment at the hospital, everyone was escorted to the Devoll police station where they will be questioned and the full dynamics of the incident will be revealed.
"The services of the Devoll Police Commissariat, immediately after receiving notification yesterday about a conflict in Bilisht, have organized work to prevent the escalation of the conflict and identify the citizens involved.
The 4 citizens suspected of being involved in the conflict were escorted to the Police Station and at the conclusion of the investigative actions, the Crime Investigation specialists arrested the citizens in flagrante delicto:
GM, 39 years old, resident of Bilisht, for the criminal offenses of “Intentional minor injury”, “Unlicensed production and possession of cold weapons”, “Disturbance of public order and peace” and “Destruction of property”;
Y. Xh., 37 years old, resident of Bilisht, for the criminal offense of "Driving a vehicle in an improper manner".
They also referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated at large for the criminal offenses of "Destruction of Property" and "Other Intentional Damage", against citizens MB, 37 years old, with a criminal record, and T. Ç., 38 years old, both residents of Bilisht.
From the investigations it is suspected that yesterday, around 11:00, citizen GM had a conflict on the street, for weak motives, with citizens T. Ç. and MB, stabbed citizen T. Ç., 38 years old, in the leg and fled in a vehicle.
Then, citizen Y. Xh., together with citizens T. Ç. and MB, followed the 39-year-old's vehicle and in the city center, citizens T. Ç. and MB exercised physical violence against the 39-year-old and damaged his vehicle with hard objects. The verifications showed that citizen Y. Xh. was driving the vehicle without a driving license.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
