The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK) and the State Police have conducted an action in the city of Durrës.
It is learned that searches have been carried out in the homes of well-known names in the criminal world. It is reported that a search was carried out in Durrës and the home of Aleksandër Laho, known as 'Rrumi i Shijakut'.
It is reported that he was not found in the apartment or in the places where he was thought to be. In 2023, a search was carried out in his apartment, but he was not found, while his brother was questioned.
Meanwhile, today, Aleksandër Laho's brother, 'Rrumi i Shijakut', was arrested.
'Rrumi' is a well-known figure for justice and is wanted by the police for the kidnapping of the Beqiraj brothers and the alienation of property on the coast of Lalzi Bay. He was also injured in the assassination attempt in which the Durrës MP, then prosecutor, Arian Ndoja, was also wounded.
Another person arrested in the SPAK action in Durrës is Enea Kume, the brother of SP MP Loer Kume.
Loer Kume was elected as a SP MP in Durrës County in the May 11 elections and was sworn in as a lawmaker in Parliament on September 18. It is reported that the action was taken for property alienation.
