Seven Albanians aged 26 to 43 have been arrested by the Spanish police as suspected perpetrators of at least four home burglaries committed last week in the cities of Palomares del Campo, Huete and Tinajas.
The first indicator of the presence of a cell of the criminal group was the identification of one of the tools used. Thanks to a quick investigation, that the vehicle in question could be located in an area of Toledo, led to the verification that the suspected perpetrators were staying in a rural house in the municipality of Cedillo del Condado.
According to the Spanish police, it is an organized group, completely hierarchical and with a high degree of specialization, which creates a center of operations temporarily, in rural rental accommodation, in different provinces from the one where it operates, but close at a distance.
From a logistical base and using high-powered vehicles, they move towards small towns, off the main roads but close to the highways, which allows them, in case of need, an immediate escape, not hesitating to attack any obstacle.
At the moment of committing the acts, they communicate through mobile phones and radio frequency devices. In addition, they used highly specialized technical equipment, which proves the professionalization of the dismantled criminal group. After locating the property where they will operate, two of them carry out the robbery, while the others carry out surveillance work and ensure the escape.
During the police operation, more than 7,500 euros in cash, jewelry, etc. were found. A vehicle used in the Palomares del Campo robbery was seized, along with two other passenger cars used by the suspects.
200 grams of marijuana were also found. Investigations continue, not excluding new arrests and possible involvement of this criminal group in more criminal acts committed in other provinces.
