Four people were arrested by the Durrës police after distributing drugs in the area of Xhafzotaj in the coastal city.
Their arrest was carried out as part of the national operation 'Tempulli', while 131.5 grams of cannabis in the form of chocolate, doses of cocaine and 1 vehicle were seized.
After several weeks of investigations, the police arrested Ani Binozi, 32 years old, Aleks Binozi, 37 years old, Eriket Kanani, 48 years old, all three residents of the village of Xhafzotaj, Durrës, and Shaqir Driza, 34 years old, resident of the village of Straza, Shijak, for the criminal offenses "Production and the sale of narcotics", "Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth" and "Opposition to the public order police officer", as they allegedly distributed cannabis sativa narcotics in the form of chocolate, in the village of Xhafzotaj, Durrës.
Also, before the inspection by the Police, they tried to destroy the material evidence in Alex Binozi's apartment, as well as they opposed the Police officers during the escort.
The police seized 131.5 grams of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa in the form of chocolate, several doses of suspected narcotic substance cocaine, 1 electronic scale that these citizens used to divide the narcotic substance into doses, 1 vehicle and 4 mobile phones.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
