A 26-year-old man was injured as a result of the explosive explosion that was placed at the door of an apartment in a building in Elbasan.
It is learned that the explosion happened around 02:30 in the morning in the "Haxhias" neighborhood in the corridor of the fourth floor of a building. According to the police, the explosive substance was placed at the entrance door of the apartment owned by a 59-year-old man, in which two people lived for rent.
"Around 02:30, in the neighborhood "Haxhias", in the corridor of the 4th floor of a building, at the entrance door owned by the citizen BB, 59 years old, in which two citizens lived for rent, a quantity of material exploded suspected explosive.
As a result, material damage was caused. Meanwhile, citizen E. Th., about 26 years old, who lives in the opposite entrance, was accidentally damaged by the explosion from the door of his room. The 26-year-old is currently out of danger for life.
A special investigative group has been set up with specialists for the investigation of serious crimes of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate and the Criminal Police Department under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, they are continuing the work to clarify the case, identify and capture the author/s" , the police announced.
