An explosion occurred at a gas station in Tirana. It is learned that the incident took place on "Bardhyl" street. As a result, 2 people were injured.
According to the police, the explosion happened when an autobot was unloading gasoline. For still unclear reasons, the explosion occurred and as a result the driver of the autobot and the fuel manager were injured.
They were taken to the hospital and are receiving medical attention. The fire brigade went to the scene to neutralize the flames.
" On 04.11.2023, around 1:30 p.m., on Bardhyl Street, while a gasoline fuel was being used, an explosion occurred. As a result, citizen M. Ç. (manager) and citizen MK (autobot driver) were injured, who were transported to the hospital and are under the care of doctors. The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident ," the police announced.
As a result of the explosion, the autobot ended up on the stairs of another nearby business, which is located on an underground floor. The police surrounded the gas station and are investigating the causes of the incident. In advance, it is suspected that the security conditions were not respected.
