
A 35-year-old man of Greek origin and a 39-year-old man from Albania were arrested yesterday (October 19) by police officers in Thessaloniki for cultivation, trafficking and possession of narcotics.
According to the Police announcement, after the coordinated actions of the police and the investigation carried out in a residence that they were using in an area of Thessaloniki, 75 cannabis plants were found inside the premises.
The equipment used for their cultivation (electrical devices, lamps, digital thermometers - hygrometers, PH measuring devices, ventilators, etc.) were also confiscated, as well as 2 security cameras without recorders.
The police said that 7 packages of unprocessed marijuana with a total weight of 2.4 kilograms, 2 packages of processed cannabis (chocolate) with a total weight of 68 grams were seized, "Thestival.gr" writes.
A precision electronic scale was also seized. In the control carried out at the house of the Albanian in the area of Thessaloniki, the following were found and confiscated: 1 packet of processed marijuana (chocolate), weighing 15 grams, 2 packets of unprocessed marijuana with a total weight of 34 grams and an electronic device for the measurement of PH, reports "Sky.gr".
2 vehicles were seized, and an amount of 980 euros in cash and 2 mobile phones were found.
The arrested, with the file filed against them, were sent to the Prosecution Office of the First Degree in Thessaloniki.
