Nertil Laho is one of the arrested persons who appeared in the Tirana court after being found by the police to be a drunk driver. His lawyer shows the young man's justification in court.
"He said that he was celebrating with his work colleagues ", said Enea Cenko.
These justifications during December have turned into a chorus before the judges who hear who the arrested people celebrated with, who after it is established that they did not cause damage or injured are released under the measure of obligation to appear".
"Even my client said that I celebrated with the work collective", said lawyer Shpëtim Kodheli.
Tirana has the highest number of drunk drivers, where 16 people ended up at the police station for Christmas alone.
In addition to the arrestees detected by the breath alcohol test, 369 others were fined during December for driving under the influence of alcohol, but this amount was below 0.5 grams per liter.
