The Tirana court has set this Sunday the measure of personal security "obligation to appear" for Rei Bitri, the 21-year-old who caused an accident in the early hours of Thursday morning to a police officer.
As journalist Anila Hoxha reports for Top Channel, during the session, the 21-year-old claimed that the police officer suddenly appeared in front of him and that he had not seen him.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana is waiting for the results of the expertise from the hospital where the police officer is being treated. Also, in the hall in front of the court, it was claimed that previously the officer had minor injuries and was out of danger for life.
The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has also received the testimonies of two other police officers who were on duty on "Xhanfize Keko" street at the time when the accident occurred.
Rei Bitri was traveling with his private vehicle, when the officer ordered him to open his arm, this was the moment when the 21-year-old had an accident, injuring the policeman's leg.
