Abas Rabi, a 44-year-old from Lazarati, a person with numerous and serious criminal records in Albania and currently wanted in our country, has been arrested as part of an international mega-operation of Interpol.
This operation was carried out in Serbia, Greece, Spain and Bosnia and Herzegovina, where 10 people were imprisoned in Serbia, Spain and Greece, while 17 others ended up in the prisons of Serbia, Montenegro and Turkey.
12 other people were declared wanted from the operation. The operation was developed after the analysis of conversations in the "SKY ECC" application, which led to the disclosure of 4 murders in Athens and Corfu of members of the "Skaljari" criminal clan in Montenegro, involved in international drug trafficking. Rabi is the only person arrested in Greece, specifically in Athens, where during the search of his apartment, 1 pistol, 2 combs and 40 cartridges were found and seized.
On January 19, 2020, at the "Voskopula" tavern in Vari, Athens, Igor Dedovic from Slovenia and Stevan Stamatovic from Montenegro, both 43 years old, were executed with a gun in front of their family members, and Stamatovic's wife, Milena, was injured. . The perpetrators were 4 masked persons, who left behind 24 cartridges and 1 9 mm cartridge fired from 2 guns. The two victims were wanted internationally by the Montenegrin authorities for criminal organization. They left Montenegro in 2017 and have been living in Greece since 2019. Dedovic was the head of the "Skaljari" group and Stamatovic his confidant.
On July 23, 2020, citizens Alan Kozar, 43 years old from Tivari, Montenegro, and Damir Hadzic, 47 years old from Užice, Serbia, were found murdered inside a "Toyota Yaris" vehicle in the yard of a villa in Corfu. At the scene, the police found 34 cartridges, 7 shells and 2 metal scraps. Inside the vehicle, the police found a "Glock" pistol and another "Glock" pistol inside the villa. Kozar and Hadzic were wanted internationally by Montenegro and Serbia. Both of them were related to the "Skaljari" clan.
The analysis of the conversations of "SKY EÇ" by the French authorities managed to clarify the conversations related to the 4 murders. The authorities identified as members of the criminal group in different roles, 39 people, among whom one Albanian and one Kosovar and the others Serbs, Montenegrins, a Dutch, a Bosnian and a Macedonian. The investigative group has not yet identified 9 other people involved in the group, among them an Albanian user of "SKY EÇ" with the code "5BF926".
The role of Abbas Rabi

Në lidhje me ngjarjet në Greqi, ai akuzohet se pas vrasjes së Dedovic dhe Stamatovic, sipas bisedave në “SKY EÇ”, armët dhe municionet e papërdorura i’u dorëzuan Abas Rabit, i cili i magazinoi për llogari të grupit kriminal me qëllim përdorimin e tyre në vrasjen e Alan Kozar. Rabi përdorte kodin “FN6820” në “SKY EÇ” dhe komunikonte me maqedonasin Jakup Aljija. Ky i fundit kishte marrë urdhër nga Radoje Zvicer për transportin e armëve nga Athina në Korfuz. Aljija ja ka transmetuar këtë urdhër Rabit, i cili i ka dërguar forografi të armëve Alijas. Armët e fotografuara e të shkëmbyera në “SKY EÇ” rezultojnë të njëjta me armët në fotot e zbuluara në komunikimet e grupit kriminal serbo-malazez, ku ishte përfshirë edhe Radoje Zvicer.
Në 14 korrik 2020, Abas Rabi ka shkuar në Igumenicë dhe ka marrë një automjet tip “Volvo” ku ndodheshin armët dhe me atë ka udhëtuar më pas për në Korfuz. Kjo ndodhi pasi personat e paidentifikuar që kishin cuar armët në Igumenicë u trembën të udhëtonin me traget nga Igumenica në Korfuz.
Siç del nga bisedat, Abas Rabi nuk e njihte personin të cilit do t’i dorëzonte armët dhe për këtë më datë 14.07.2020 ka dërguar foto ku shihet edhe pika e dorëzimit të makinës me armët (jashtë kishës të Agios Konstantinos dhe Elenit në zonën Kanalia të Korfuzit), makinën e lartpërmendur “Volvo” si dhe rrobat që ai kishte veshur, për t’u perceptuar nga marrësi. Pas marrjes së armëve, Nebojsa Jankovic ka marrë përsipër mirëmbajtjen dhe pastrimin e tyre. Më datë 17.07.2020, Marko Stankovic i ka dërguar fotografi të dy automatikëve të tipit “Skorpion” dhe “Kallashnikov” Dragan Knezevic.
Vrasjen e Kozar dhe Hadzic e kryen Dusan Jovanovic, Filip Knezevic, Marko Stankovic dhe Milos Jevric. Pas vrasjes ata u larguan me skaf nga Korfuzi në Sivota. Me urdhër të Jakup Aljija, katër vrasësit u transferuan me automjet nga Sivota në Halkidiki nga Abas Rabi dhe një tjetër person i paidentifikuar.
After his arrest as part of the mega-operation, Rabi disclosed his activity in detail to the investigative group. In particular, he stated that on Jakup Aljija's instructions, he intervened to find a lawyer to represent the three detainees (Petkovic, Brasnjovic, Lainovic) previously arrested in Glyfaddha.
Also, after the murder of Stamatovic and Dedovic, (the commission of which he was not aware of), by order of one of the citizens Jakup Aljija and Kosovar Enis Thaqi, he took a "Volvo" vehicle, in which he noticed the presence of mobile phones, a geolocation system and a "full face" type mask, which was parked in the area of Elefsina. After some time, he went with this car to the island of Corfu, having previously boarded a ship from the port of Igoumenica, where he handed it over to a person unknown to him. After a few days with a new order from Aljija and Thaqi, he took a car from an unknown person in Athens and then went to Sivota. From there he took 3-4 people who took them to the area of Halkidiki.
Clash of Montenegrin groups
In 2010, the criminal organization "Kotor Clan" was allegedly created in Montenegro with the activity of trafficking narcotics, mainly cocaine, at the global level. After a loss of 200 kg of cocaine in Spain in 2014, the members of the "Klan of Kotor" split into "Kavac" and "Skaljari" (the names come from two villages in the province of Kotor). These two groups operated autonomously, while at the same time a deadly conflict broke out between their members, resulting in around 60 murders to date in both Montenegro and Serbia, as well as the rest of Europe.
