
A 42-year-old Polish man was arrested in Qerret after he was declared internationally wanted as part of a structured criminal group.
42-year-old Sebastian Bijak was sentenced to 13 years in prison in Poland for committing three criminal offenses. The police say that they are working to extradite this citizen.
According to the police, the Warsaw-Prague court sentenced this citizen to 13 years in prison for crimes in the areas of illegal possession of weapons, fraud and possession of stolen goods, as well as for participating in a criminal group.
"The operation, from the services of the Directorate of Special Operational Forces in the DPPSH, following police operations for the capture of internationally wanted citizens. Convicted in Poland, with 13 years of imprisonment, for participating in a criminal group and for committing 3 crimes criminal case, the 42-year-old Polish man is located and arrested for the purpose of extradition.
Following the police operations for the capture of wanted citizens, which are carried out within the mega-operation "Rule of Law", as well as as a result of the exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Warsaw, the services of the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in DPSSH finalized the coded police operation "Operationalja 4".
During the operation, in Qerret, the Polish citizen Sebastian Bijak, 42 years old, declared internationally wanted, was located, captured and provisionally arrested, to be extradited to Poland.
The Warsaw-Prague Court has sentenced this citizen to 13 years of imprisonment for crimes in the areas of illegal possession of weapons, fraud and possession of stolen goods, as well as for participation in a criminal group, these offenses are punished according to the provisions of the Criminal Code of Poland. Interpol Tirana and Interpol Warsaw are cooperating to extradite this citizen," the police announced.
