
SPAK has sent a request for extradition to the court, where it asks the Greek Justice to transfer to Albania, Laert Haxhiun, this man sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment and investigated as a security measure, arrested in prison as a suspect in the murder of Zamir Latif and Jurgen Hoxha.
Haxhiu was detained during a pursuit by the police of Ioannina in a "BMW X6" type vehicle, arresting the highly wanted person who was hiding in Greece with false documents, using the Georgian name Mikis Askalidis.
The same request for extradition has been sent by the Korca prosecutor's office, for Firdeus Berberi, the 22-year-old who was arrested in Ioannina, Greece. This is because Berberi has an open process before the court of Korça, where he is accused of "Intentional murder" remaining in the attempt against Johan Muçllari and "Unauthorized possession of firearms", "Disturbance of public peace".
