Igli Tare, former red and black national team footballer, has been indicted by SPAK. Tare appeared before the Special Prosecution Office on Thursday morning, where he was charged with money laundering.
SPAK has not issued an official statement regarding the matter, but a few days ago, his brother, Agron Tare, was also questioned. The latter was the General Executive Director of the Durres Port Authority and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Igli Tare has been living in Italy for years, while he has held managerial positions at Lazio and Milan, where he was recently dismissed by the Rossoneri. Tare has not held any state positions in Albania and it is not known on what documents the special prosecutors have filed charges against the former national football player.
