Faced with the evidence of environmental interceptions, Edison Brahja has agreed to cooperate with the investigation group that is working to document the murder of 62-year-old Enver Balla.
The investigators left Esmerald Balla and Edison Brahjan in a room, where they talked to each other. They even argued.
"Look where you got me involved. Tell me, help me, that nothing will find you", said Edison to Esmeraldi in the isolation room, where they are located in the premises of the Durrës police station.
According to the investigative group, Edison Brahaj, employed as a shepherd on the farm of the Balla family, has admitted that on the day of the crime, on August 13, he was a few meters away from the place where Enveri was executed. He admitted that he heard two shots and was then called by Aldi (Esmeraldi) to help him move the victim's body, which they initially hid in the brambles.
The next day (August 14) they returned and took the body to throw it in the well near another station. For this he stated that he was paid by Esmerald Balla with 20,000 ALL, while the 30-year-old accused of murder said that he gave him 250,000 ALL.
During the search of Brahaj's apartment, 145,000 ALL were found. Despite this contradiction in the "price" paid for cooperation in the crime, the charges against the farm worker for the investigation team are clear, "concealing or disposing of the corpse", "failing to report the crime" and "actions that prevent the discovery of the truth ".
After the murder and throwing the body into the well, on August 15, Esmerald Balla reported to the police the father's departure from the apartment and began to continue with the scenario of the father's disappearance with a woman taking with her the family's savings in the amount of 7, 5 million lek.
From the investigations so far, it appears that the murder was not an act of self-defense, as the author tries to present, but an execution of the father who was shot with two bullets from behind, one bullet behind the head and one in the back. In the meantime, investigations continue with intensity to find out if there are other associates involved in this serious event.
An intriguing fact waiting to be answered is who brought the open safe with friable stone a few days after the crime about 30 meters near the apartment. Was the 25-year-old arrested, or another person involved in Esmerald Balla's scenario to eliminate the traces of the crime by staging Enver's irresponsible departure from the house along with the family's savings?
