
A guard at the Fushe Kruja prison has been arrested by police after he was caught smuggling cell phones and narcotics into the prison.
According to the police, the basic role employee, H.Ç., during the change of services, actively threw a black bag weighing about 6 kg onto one of the terraces of the external regime, with the intention of later introducing it into the internal regime. Inside the bag were found 22 mobile phones, doses of cocaine and a mobile phone charger.
" At the Fushë-Krujë Prison, operational intelligence in the prison system has prevented an attempt to introduce prohibited items, specifically mobile phones and narcotics, which were destined for the cells of convicts and detainees.

Immediately after the incident was reported, the area was cordoned off and the scene was secured for initial investigation. The Internal Prison Control Service (IPCS) and the Fushë-Krujë Police were immediately notified. After the relevant authorities arrived, the packages were opened and inside were found:
– 22 mobile phones with related accessories (chargers, headphones)
– 3 doses of cocaine
– 30 Android to iPhone charger adapters
"The packages were found dumped on the terrace above the weapons depot, near the gas depot and under Guardhouse No. 1 ," the Prison Service announced.
