A 43-year-old man was arrested by the police of Gjirokastra, after he was caught red-handed transporting 2 illegal immigrants.

The citizen with the initials E. Rr., 43 years old, resident in Tirana, was put in handcuffs. He was caught red-handed on the road axis Gjirokastër-Kakavije, at the intersection of the village of Dervician, transporting 2 immigrants from Pakistan in a "Mercedes Benz" type vehicle.

The 43-year-old was taking them from Tirana towards Saranda, with the aim of illegally crossing the border.

The police seized the vehicle, 3 mobile phones and a sum of money.
