The show "Në Shënjestre" brought back the murder of the former anti-drug officer in Elbasan, known as "Doda", in 2009, after the revelation of new details from the investigations.
Evidence collected in a van identified Donald Hoxha as one of the perpetrators. The latter revealed Gëzim Balla as being involved in the crime, in one of his testimonies before the investigators.
Announced as wanted, Gëzim Balla intervened in the show "Në Shënjestre" and denies the accusations that he is related to the murder. He mentions the name of a person named Ervis Fetahu who, according to Balla, bought the van that was used for the execution of "Doda".

Gëzim Balla: Apart from Donald Hoxha, I don't know anyone in that file. I have never had a social relationship.

Gëzim Balla: Recognition is what he said. The van in question was found by Ervis Fetahu.
