The court of Lezha has imposed an indefinite 'prison arrest' for 30-year-old Fatbardh Ismaili, who tried to kill the former deputy of the Socialist Party, Armando Prenga.

On May 17, 2023, the former socialist deputy Armando Prenga escaped an assassination attempt with a weapon in the Laç-Patok axis. It was Prenga himself who notified the police and reported that he was shot three times with a pistol while driving by another moving vehicle.
The event is suspected to have originated the day before (May 16, 2023) in a conflict during the counting of votes in KZAZ 15 Kurbin, where the observers clashed, among whom was the author's father Islam Ismaili as an observer of 'Baske Fitomje', but lawyer by profession.
The quarrel in KZAZ started over two contested votes until a physical clash between Armando Prenga's brother, Arben Prenga and Islam Ismail, involving other party representatives. Lawyer Ismaili reported to the police that Prenga and the SP commissioners hit him with fists and were separated by the police, who did not accompany any of the people involved in the conflict.
