New details have been learned from the serious incident in Korça where an elderly man ended up in hospital in a serious condition.
It is suspected that it was not a robbery but a collision with a person with whom he was in the apartment.
It is learned that alcoholic beverages were found inside Gaqo Tili's apartment, on the table, which raises suspicions that they were consuming alcohol, and they may have had a conflict while intoxicated.
In addition, it is known that the author was also injured after walking to the side of the adjacent building where he left traces of blood, but he has not yet been identified.
The serious condition of the 80-year-old makes it impossible to question him.
"On 08.02.2024, around 07:05, the hospital of Korçë has notified the operating room of DVP Korçë that the citizen GT, about 81 years old, resident in district no. 15, Korçë, has gone for medical help.
Immediately, the investigative group went to the apartment of the 81-year-old man, who found that neither the door of the apartment nor its windows were damaged. From the inspection of the apartment, as well as from the items and evidence found, it is suspected that the 81-year-old may have had a conflict with some citizen who had him in the apartment.
The investigative group, led by the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the citizen's injury and to identify the suspected perpetrator who participated in the victim's apartment.
