A 65-year-old man ended his life today by shooting himself. The event took place in the village of Vërdovë in Pogradec.
According to the first information from the police, it is reported that the 65-year-old man was alone in one of the rooms of his apartment at the time of the crime, and then it was his wife who heard the gunshots and went to the scene.
It is learned that the victim lived alone with his wife who immediately notified the police and the latter is working to clarify the incident.
On 10.02.2024, around 17:35, in the village of Vërdovë, Pogradec, in the basement of the apartment, it is suspected that he committed suicide with an automatic firearm, citizen NA, about 65 years old. The firearm was seized as material evidence. The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the case ," the police said.
