
Two Albanians have been arrested while trafficking 7 kilograms of pure cocaine in the Valencia area of Spain.
Agents also seized 29 thousand euros in cash, four mobile phones, as well as numerous documents linking the arrested to other police operations.
The Iberian country's media reports that the arrested are aged 36 and 42, temporary residents of Valencia and Castellón, but their names were not disclosed.
One of them was hiding seven kilograms of cocaine in the trunk of the vehicle, while the other was accompanying him.
During the wiretapping as part of the investigations carried out by the Organized Crime Group of the Provincial Brigade of the National Police of Valencia, on Albanian groups dedicated to drug trafficking based in this city, a meeting was discovered between 2 Albanians and a third person, near the house of one of them.
Agents observed how while one of the suspects performed the surveillance role, the other entered the house and later left with a bag that he put in the vehicle.
The surveillance and tracking of the driver of the car continued by the Drug and Organized Crime Unit (Udyco) in Castellón, until they were caught red-handed. In the suspects' trafficking scheme, it was discovered that they were using vehicles on behalf of third parties.
The arrested are isolated in prison, where they await their appearance in court for trial.
