A 33-year-old man was arrested in Saranda after he was caught transporting cannabis by car.
The police informs that citizen AI has been taken into custody
During the search of the vehicle driven by the 33-year-old, the police services found a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, with a total weight of about 3 kilograms. From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the narcotic substance was being transported for the purpose of sale.
The narcotic substance was seized as material evidence, together with the vehicle in which it was being transported.
Investigative actions continue for the complete documentation of this criminal activity, as well as for the identification and prosecution of other citizens involved in it.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics".
