This is Ana, the Albanian who tragically lost her life last evening in Messolonghi while cleaning a meat machine. The police arrested the owner of the facility, as part of the investigation, he is accused of an industrial accident resulting in manslaughter.
The woman's body was sent to Patra for an autopsy, while the burial is expected to take place in the following days in Evinochori.
" At 9 o'clock they took him to go to work and at 10 o'clock the mantato came," she told a close person. At the same time, her relatives are trying to understand how the accident happened. "Her daughter was cleaning the front and the mother was in the kitchen. At one point the girl heard voices. She ran and saw her mother in this state," a relative of the woman told protothema.gr.
The woman had been living in Mesolongji for two years with her mother and two children, an 18-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son, after leaving Albania after separating from her husband.
According to people who knew her, she worked with her daughter from morning to night and cleaned shops to make ends meet.
The tragic event happened on Friday evening, shortly after 21:00, when the woman and her daughter, who worked in cleaning shops, went to the butcher to do their work. For an as yet unknown reason, the woman was cleaning the car when her hair got caught, causing her to be torn apart to death.
