The autopsy performed on the body of 25-year-old Kevin Muharremi, killed during a serious incident on Valentine's Day night in Italy, has revealed new details about the manner in which the crime was committed.
According to foreign media, the young man was shot with more than one bullet from a Beretta 7.65 firearm. One of the bullets proved fatal, after hitting him in the neck, where the shell was also found. The final expert report, which is expected to be submitted within 60 days, will accurately determine the wound that caused death and will help in the complete reconstruction of the dynamics of the event.
The incident occurred after a conflict between two groups of young people, which began in a bar in Montopoli and ended with gunfire in Montecalvoli. The clash went from a verbal argument to physical violence, then escalating to the use of weapons.
A 20-year-old Albanian man, Renato Xyke, has been arrested for this murder and is in custody. He is accused of being the perpetrator of the crime. During questioning, he admitted to shooting the victim and gave his version of events.
According to his testimony, the conflict had started earlier between the two groups and escalated to the fatal moment. It is suspected that he fired the shot while driving a Range Rover Evoque, which he was stopped by the police a few hours after the incident.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old is being investigated at large for complicity in this crime. He has stated that he had no knowledge of the weapon and has denied involvement. The investigation continues, while authorities are analyzing evidence and video footage to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
