The Swedish tourist lost his life in Saranda after going swimming in the sea

A 73-year-old Swede passed away today on one of the private beaches in district No. 1 of Saranda.

The event happened around 12:00 today, when 73-year-old Benqt Old Tixer from Sweden, after entering the water, lost consciousness a few minutes later.

Other vacationers at the scene gave first aid until the ambulance arrived. Although he was transported to Saranda Hospital, the 73-year-old man died.

Preliminary sources indicate that it is suspected that the elderly man suffered a cardiac arrest.
