The Court of Athens has decided the security measure "Arrest with prison" for the 39-year-old from Divjaka, Armiol Rrasa. He was arrested on Friday in Athens after he had hidden in the air duct of the back seats of the car 1 TT pistol and 2 tritol molds.
Meanwhile, the court released 33-year-old Daniela Luari, who was a passenger in the vehicle. The security measure "obligation to appear once a month" was set for her.
Armiol Rrasa told the jury that he was carrying the pistol for self-defense because of an old revenge, while regarding the tritol molds he stated that he did not know that it was explosive.
Rrasa claimed that the package belonged to a third person and, according to him, he thought there were bullets inside.
Armiol Rrasa, known as "Ari", was arrested 12 times in Greece, even for the penultimate time he was charged in June of this year for the rape of a minor, from which it is not known how he escaped without staying in the cell after just one month later it turns out that he was arrested again for "violation of traffic rules".
