A 61-year-old man was put in handcuffs after firearms, rifles and military ammunition were found in his apartment.
The police informs that in the framework of the "Hill" operation, a ND citizen, a resident of Vorë, was arrested in the act.
During the search of the 61-year-old's apartment, the police services found and seized as material evidence, 1 firearm, a rifle, a comb and combat ammunition.
"In implementation of the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan "Rule of Law", the police operation coded "Hill" was finalized. The operation was carried out by the Police Station No. 7. Firearms, rifles and military ammunition were found in the apartment, the 61-year-old is arrested in the act.
Services of Police Station No. 7, following the work to prevent and combat criminal activity in the field of illegal weapons possession, in accordance with the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan "Rule of Law", they organized and finalized the coded police operation "Hill". As a result of this operation, a ND citizen, 61 years old, resident of Vorë, was arrested in the act.
During the search of the 61-year-old's apartment, the police services found and seized as material evidence, 1 firearm, a rifle, a comb and combat ammunition. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police announced.
