Greek police learn in Koridhalos prison, what was found in the cell of the
Sander Pemaj

The Greek police, with the help of a sniffer dog, searched the cells of the "Koridhalos" prison, checking 45 of them.

In many of the checked cells, it is learned that there are also Albanian citizens convicted of various criminal offences.

From the controls, 24 mobile phones, 1 wireless router, 1 smart watch, 1 electronic scale, 30 SIM cards, chargers and headphones, 10.75 grams of marijuana, 0.08 grams of heroin and 1 knife were discovered.

One of the checked cells is that of the Albanian considered high risk, Sandër Pemaj, 45 years old. In his cell was found the wireless router that he allegedly used for external communications. Pemaj is imprisoned for trafficking 1.1 tons of cocaine from the Caribbean in 2020.

He has precedents for clashing with the Greek police in 2010, where two of the officers were injured and the Albanian Nikola Todi was mistakenly killed by the police. While in 2014 he was arrested as part of a cocaine distribution group in Athens. Pemaj is considered a link of the "Lions" group in Athens, which has the well-known club "BellaVita" as its center. This group is suspected of serious crimes in Greece.
