The photo of Alma Beqiri, the agent of the private postal services, who fell into the hands of the Korca police after being accused of embezzling large sums of money through fraud, has been published.
According to the police, it is suspected that the 46-year-old woman, through fraud, was able to acquire 3 million euros through the "Adex" mail, for a period of 2 years.
The denunciation of Alma Beqirin was carried out by the private postal company ADEX itself, but also by some third parties who made payments for the service received, but again turned out to be debtors against this post office. The latter stated that they had made the payments regularly after receiving the service.
Alma Beqiri is known to have invested the considerable amount in the purchase of real estate and commercial businesses, on behalf of herself and her family members.
She was arrested after a 2-month investigation and 2 vehicles used by the 46-year-old woman were seized as material evidence. The police announce that the work continues to identify and bring to the fore the legal responsibility of other citizens, suspected to be involved in this fraud scheme.
