An unregistered entity in the tax authorities in which smuggled goods were stored in large quantities, worth 150,000 euros, has been discovered in Tirana.
The police arrested the administrator and storekeeper of this subject. During the operation, 305 packages, 145 cases and 13 bags with various goods and products were seized. Arrested are Ledio Kamberi, Gentian Plaku and Etmir Dogjani.
" Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Sector of the Special Force of Special Operations and Research, following the work to combat illegalities in the field of economic crimes, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Best cargo".
As a result, citizens LK, 31 years old, GP, 41 years old and ED, 40 years old, all three residents of Tirana, were arrested.
The Police Services, during the inspection in a subject (warehouse) not registered with the tax authorities, with administrator citizen GP and storekeeper citizen LK, found and seized various goods and products. From the investigative actions, it was found that the citizen ED supplied his store with these goods, in order to sell them at retail.
As material evidence, 305 packages, 145 boxes and 13 bags of various goods and products, worth about 150,000 euros, were seized.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions. "- announced the police.
