A few hours after the serious incident that occurred in Shkodër, where 34-year-old Kolë Manaj shot his cohabitant Anila Prendushi and then killed himself, the 44-year-old was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for more specialized service.
The incident occurred in the 34-year-old's vehicle, while the couple had met to clarify things, as the 44-year-old sought to separate from her roommate.
Sources from the investigation group indicate that Kolë Manaj initially shot his 45-year-old partner and then killed himself.
The mother of three is in the Trauma Hospital in serious condition, while the 34-year-old was found lifeless in the car. The murder weapon was also found inside the vehicle.
"Around 11:15, in the "Mark Lula" neighborhood, citizen Kole Manaj, 34 years old, and citizen Anila Prenushi were found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Citizen Kole Manaj has lost his life, while citizen Anila Prenushi has been taken to hospital in very serious condition.
Initial investigations show that the vehicle has no external damage caused by firearms. A pistol was found inside the vehicle, the Shkodra police informed today.
