A person has been declared wanted by the Tirana Police, after allegedly raping the director of the National Waste Management Agency (AKEM), an institution that operates under the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.
According to police sources, the incident occurred after a conflict that is suspected to be related to the termination of the wanted person's employment relationship. It is learned that he was waiting for the head of AKEM near the ministry's premises, where initially there was a verbal clash between them.
The argument then escalated into threats and physical violence, with the suspect allegedly punching the officer. After the incident was reported, police structures have launched an investigation to fully document the case.
Meanwhile, work continues to identify the location and arrest the suspect, while investigations are expected to reveal the full circumstances that led to the incident.
