Other details have been revealed regarding the mafia execution of Roan Brahimi in Athens on Thursday evening (May 9).
It is learned that Brahimi had come to Greece for Easter from the United Arab Emirates. His purpose was to visit his wife and 7-year-old son, who lived in Virona, Athens, near the place where the serious incident took place.
Until now, the media in the neighboring country say that there is still no information on the perpetrators of the murder of the 32-year-old, who was executed in front of his wife and child.
Police officers investigating the case believe it is a calculation between rival groups and are scanning cameras in the area to determine where the perpetrators went.
According to the Greek media, investigations are taking place at a fast pace as there is a fear that the perpetrators will try to leave the country.
At the scene, the police found two cartridges and found that the victim had received two bullets, one in the head and one a little below the head.
How did the murder happen?
Roan Brahimi and the injured woman were in a black SUV, Mercedes Benz A Class, and were waiting on the road as their child was playing in the park across the street.
Suddenly a motorcycle came at high speed and the driver stopped in the middle of the road, took out a gun and started shooting.
The 32-year-old man died instantly, while his 37-year-old wife was slightly injured. The child at that moment was playing in the park and saw the incident. The child ran to the scene and shouted "help, my father".
The police are investigating the incident, but according to their estimates, it seems to be a case of money laundering. Roan Brahimi is known in Albania as the enemy of Ervis Martinaj, about whom there is no information since August 9, 2022, since he disappeared without a trace, one of the tracks of the investigation is that of murder.
The criminal track that the police is investigating is that of the settlement of accounts between criminal groups.
