The police have clarified the incident recorded yesterday, where a girl from Venezuela jumped from the balcony. As a result, criminal proceedings are underway for 6 women, five foreign nationals who allegedly practiced prostitution in a rented apartment, and a 39-year-old man who had a conflict with one of the girls.
"There are criminal proceedings against 5 foreign citizens who practiced prostitution in a rented apartment, in neighborhood no. 2, in Durrës, where narcotics were used.
Criminal proceedings are underway against the 39-year-old man who, at noon yesterday, due to weak motives, had a conflict with one of the foreign nationals.
Specialists of the Illegal Traffic Investigation Section of DVP Durrës referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where they started the proceedings in a free state, for the criminal offense "Prostitution", for citizens LO, 27 years old, born in Colombia, CP, 30 years old, and born in Venezuela, YP, age 47, born in Spain and DR, age 24, born in Venezuela. In addition, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state, for the criminal offenses "Prostitution", "Maintaining premises for prostitution" and "Adapting premises for drug use", for the citizen DL, 23 years old, born in Barcelona.
From the verifications, it is suspected that these 5 citizens practiced prostitution in a rented apartment, in neighborhood no. 2., an environment which they had also adapted for the use of narcotics.
In the following, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state, for the criminal offense of "Other intentional damage", for the citizen IZ, 39 years old, resident of Shijak, because at around 2:40 p.m. yesterday, in the premises of the apartment in neighborhood no. 2, had a conflict with the citizen DL.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the Police explained in the official announcement.
