The Italian police continue the investigation into the death of 26-year-old Anila Grishaj at the workplace. Among the persons under investigation is the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company where she worked, Bocon.
Foreign media write that in the coming days a technical assessment will be made on the device where the CEO will participate through one of his consultants. The colleague who activated the machine where Anila worked is also under investigation for manslaughter.
As a result, her neck vertebrae were crushed and she died immediately. According to sources close to the investigators, "Treviso Today" writes that at the moment there is no useful element that can show that the accident occurred after a specific safety element was not respected.
The machine in question was purchased last May and appears to be of the latest generation. One of the possible hypotheses is that of an anomalous intervention in the machine, a situation that may have fooled the other colleague, who was forced to restart it after believing it had been turned off by mistake.
However, the dynamics of Anila's death have been captured by security cameras inside the company. They can show more about the intervention that the 26-year-old's colleague has carried out and therefore whether he has respected the procedures of security protocols.
Meanwhile, today it is expected that a delegation of the Senate in Italy will visit this company, which has launched an investigative commission on the exploitation and safety in the workplace.
26-year-old Anila Grishaj lost her life in the afternoon of November 15 while working in the company for frozen products where she had recently become deputy director.
