Two young men have been arrested by police in Kamëz, suspected of being the perpetrators of several thefts in commercial establishments.
According to the data, the young men, aged 21 and 18, are suspected of having stolen money and products from a business in Kamëz the day before.
Investigations have also uncovered two other cases of theft, occurring on November 18, 2025 and January 29, 2026, where it is suspected that sums of money were taken from two other businesses.
The 21-year-old arrested has a previous conviction for theft.
"A business in Kamëz was robbed, thanks to quick investigative actions, the 2 suspected perpetrators were identified, located and arrested. One of the arrested citizens was previously convicted of theft.
Two other thefts, which occurred previously and were committed by these two citizens, have been solved. The Kamëz Police Commissariat services, immediately after receiving a report yesterday about a theft case that occurred at a business in Kamëz, organized the work to solve the incident, identify, locate and capture the perpetrators.
Thanks to the immediate response and rapid investigative actions, within the framework of the police operation "Together", citizen AS, 21 years old, resident of Kamëz, previously convicted of theft, as well as an 18-year-old citizen, were identified and arrested.
Yesterday, these two citizens, in collaboration with each other, stole products and sums of money from a commercial entity.
The investigative actions also made it possible to uncover and document the authorship of 2 other previously occurring thefts, committed by these two citizens, specifically:
"On 18.11.2025 and 29.01.2026, these citizens are suspected of having stolen sums of money from 2 businesses. The procedural materials were passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
