Investigations into the death of the 20-year-old Albanian, Enrico Aliaj, are continuing in Italy. Investigators are looking into every hypothesis, even that of a tragic incident.

The victim's brother, an 18-year-old man, has been handcuffed and continues to be interrogated.

Enrico died as a result of a bullet to the head. The event happened on the evening of June 2, in the house where he lived with his parents, brother and younger sister in the province of Piacenza.

The case is being investigated for the criminal offense of murder. The name of the victim's brother appears as he was present at the time of the incident. After that he got stuck in the apartment and came out after a few hours in a state of shock. With them, at the time of the incident, there was also a third person, also identified. It is about a friend of theirs, who has left the apartment.

What happened is unclear. In order to have a clearer dynamic, the results of the criminal police, the ballistic reports, the two testimonies of the brother and the friend and the autopsy of the 20-year-old, which will be performed in the following days, are awaited. Another thing the authorities need to explain is the pistol. So it is not known how the young people had fallen into her possession.

"My client decided to answer all the questions of the investigators, since he is the first one to whom he has an interest in shedding light on the dynamics of the event," said the 18-year-old's lawyer, Fabio Callegari.

The lawyer is the vice-president of Pontedellolio, where the Albanians lived, and has known the family for years. The 18-year-old explained that the incident happened by accident.

The serious case has shocked the whole community. Enrico's professor, Sergio Segalini, said that the young Albanian was very active.

"There was no going back. Where a hand was needed, he was there. It was one of the most active and was available to people," he said.

The mayor of the municipality, Alessandro Chiesa, also expressed his condolences.

"It is a sad day for our community. We join the pain of the family for this tragic loss", he said.
