
A 24-year-old man was arrested by the police after stealing a watch worth 20,000 euros.
According to the police, the baggage unloading employee in Rinas stole a watch worth 20,000 euros from a passenger's luggage.
The report was made by a 30-year-old man, on behalf of his cousin, who had traveled from Rinas to Athens, but when he arrived in the Greek capital, he found that he did not have the watch in his suitcase.
The police handcuffed 24-year-old Klajdi Qerimi, a resident of Krujë, who is an employee of the baggage loading-unloading sector, at the aircraft stand and seized the stolen watch.
"Stolen an expensive watch, in one of the passengers' luggage, the 24-year-old, baggage loading and unloading employee, was identified, caught and handcuffed at the airport terminal in Rinas.
The watch worth about 20,000 euros was seized.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Rinas Police Station, following the work to crack down on illegalities, after the report filed by a 30-year-old man, that his cousin, who had traveled from Rinas to Athens, had stolen a watch expensive which he carried in his luggage and whose theft he had ascertained at the moment he arrived in Athens, they immediately organized the work for the complete legal documentation of the case and bringing forward the legal responsibility of the suspected author.
As a result of the operational and procedural actions carried out by the Section for the Investigation of Crimes, it was possible to identify as the author of this theft, the citizen KQ, with the duty of an employee of the baggage loading-unloading sector, at the aircraft stand.
Following the actions, the suspected perpetrator, a citizen of KQ, 24 years old, a resident of Krujë, with the duty of an employee for loading and unloading luggage, was arrested at Rinas airport.
The suspected stolen watch, worth about 20,000 euros, was seized as material evidence.
The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office," the police announced.
