3 people are suspected to have participated in the murder of Gentian Bejtje on Friday afternoon in the yard of the apartment in Larushk of Fushë Krujë.
At the scene, the investigative group seized 48 cartridges, which were allegedly fired by two shooters, while the third perpetrator was waiting for them in the car.
From the reconstruction of the event, the investigators have doubts that the perpetrators came in a "Land Rover" type car from the main entrance of the 43-year-old's apartment and two of the killers got inside taking advantage of the fact that the door was open.
Their entry into the apartment is thought to have been noticed by the victim, who tried to leave, but could not, as he died in the back yard in the attempt.
After making sure that Bejtja passed away, the perpetrators left in the direction of Hasan village. In this area, they burned the vehicle inside which 4 Kalashnikovs were found. From the verifications, the "Land Rover" type car used in the crime turned out to be stolen in Shkodër, in August 2023.
In order to create a route of movement of the perpetrators, the police and the prosecution have seized dozens of security cameras in the area. Several people were also escorted to the police, who, after being interrogated, were released again. Controls were also carried out in the apartments of some well-known characters from the world of crime, who had clashes with Gentian Bejtje in the past, but they were not found.
The 43-year-old was a well-known name to the police, as he escaped 3 assassination attempts in the past. The most recent was in July 2023 in the backyard of his house in Larushk, where Bejtja escaped the barrage of bullets, but his brother-in-law, Ramazan Sino, was killed and his 10-year-old son was injured.
For this event at that time, the 43-year-old man was declared wanted by the police for questioning. Gentian Bejtje's name has also been mentioned in several criminal events, which the investigative group is verifying whether or not they are related to his execution.
