The vehicle used by the 2 brothers Agrim and Kreshnik Gashi for the murder of 41-year-old Elton Javori on December 7 in the "16 Aprili" neighborhood of Fier was found and seized today.
The police have started investigations for 70-year-old Rexhep Puka, the husband of the aunt of the two escaped brothers. It is learned that the elderly man had hidden the vehicle in the garage of his apartment.
Also, in this same garage, another "Benz" armored vehicle was found and seized, in the trunk of which another vehicle license plate was found.
The police found and seized in another apartment which was kept by Rexhep Puka: 3 switched-off mobile phones, 4 police bulletproof vests, 1 shotgun, 1 shotgun, 2 empty pistol grips and 1 ax with a wooden handle, suspected to have been used in other criminal events.
"Following the investigative actions and the continuous work for clarifying and documenting the event that happened on December 7 in Fier, where Elton Javori, 41 years old, was killed with a gun, the Police services, with the support of police intelligence, made it possible finding and seizing the vehicle used by the perpetrators during the event.
Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes of the DVP Fier referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the RP citizen, 70 years old, resident of Dërmanas, Fier, after during the search in his apartment, in the closed garage, it was found and the "Benz" type vehicle used by Agim Gashi and K. Gashi during the murder of citizen Elton Javori was seized.
From the inspection of this vehicle, a firearm cartridge was found and seized as material evidence, while a firearm cartridge was found in the apartment.
Also, in this same garage, another "Benz" armored vehicle was found and seized, in the trunk of which another vehicle license plate was found.
During detailed checks in the area, in an apartment, which was kept by the RP citizen, the following were found and seized as material evidence: 3 switched-off mobile phones, 4 bulletproof vests like those of the Police, 1 single shotgun, 1 shotgun, 2 empty pistol combs and 1 wooden axe, suspected to have been used in other criminal events.
In the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the work continues intensively for the capture of the perpetrators, Agim Gashi and K. Gashi, and complete documentation of the circumstances of the event.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, in charge of the citizen of the Republic of Poland, for the criminal offenses "Supporting the author of the crime", "Production and possession without permission of weapons and military ammunition" and "Production and possession without a permit for hunting and sporting weapons," the police announced.
