The court hearing against 4 minors accused of murdering 15-year-old Fatjon Bici in Gramsh is postponed again.
The hearing was postponed to March 18, while the reason was the non-appearance of the defense lawyers of the victim, i.e. the defense of the person who was injured.
It is learned that there were tensions in the courtroom and outside the court from the family of the victim, Fatjon Bici, who accuse the judicial body of deliberately postponing the hearings, accusing them of corruption and deliberately delaying the process. The state police intervened to evict the family members.
The four minors are charged with "murder with other qualifying circumstances committed in cooperation".
Also, the session held on February 2 was postponed because the panel of three judges was not filled. Even in this session, there were many tensions.
Likewise, the defense lawyers of the victim's family members requested the rejection of the summary trial, requested earlier by the defense of the accused.
In the case of an abbreviated trial, the 4 teenagers risk a sentence of up to 8 years in prison, while in a normal trial they will not be able to be sentenced to more than 12 years in prison, as the Juvenile Criminal Justice Code provides.
The serious event took place just a few meters from the school where the four teenagers ambushed the cousin of Fatjon Bic, with whom they had a conflict on social networks. Armed with knives and fist-strengthening gloves, they attacked Fatjon's cousin, while the latter was stabbed to death as he stepped in to protect him.
