New details from the murder of Pëllumb Meta in Durrës have come to light. Expertise has confirmed that the weapon found in the pool of water in the Rinia sector was used to kill the 50-year-old.
It is learned that the Durres Prosecutor's Office received the answer from the Scientific Laboratory in Tirana, where according to the ballistics expertise of the TT Mod-54 pistol, it was confirmed that this is exactly the weapon with which the crime was committed.
Meanwhile, Pëllumb Meta's two sons, Hysen and Amarildo Meta, and daughter Hygerta Meta are in prison after the macabre crime.
All three continue to maintain the same attitude regarding the murder of the father. According to them, Pëllumb Meta's executor is his daughter Hygerta.
We recall that Amarildo Meta, Pëllumb Meta's younger son, denied to the investigators that he was the author of the murder. Asked after the release of the ballistics report of the weapon where his fingerprints were found, the 19-year-old man stood by the same testimony he gave before.
He claimed again before the investigators that he did not touch the pistol and did not shoot his father himself. As the author of the murder, he blamed his sister, Hygerta, who also took over the crime.
According to him, he was at the service station when Hygerta's sister killed his father and learned about the incident after returning home. He declares that for the serious incident he only helped his brother Hysen Meta to hide his father's car, which was found in the Youth sector.
