After almost two years of delays with the investigations and the trial, it seems that the process for the death of Jonada Avdiaj in August 2022, which was dismembered with a speedboat by officer Arjan Tase, is coming to an end.
Today the claim was filed by the Vlora Prosecutor's Office, which requested 15 years in prison for him. The process has been dragging on for two years and now it is expected that after the conclusion of the defense side, the court's decision will be given.
" In the final conclusions, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Vlora, declares that it is proven that on the day of the event, on 02.08.2022, it turns out that the defendant AT was driving a boat with two engines and after leaving several people on the seashore, at the moment it started to leave the area where the citizen BA was swimming with his daughter JA, the vehicle gained a lot of speed going in their direction and when taking the turn, its engines they caught the minor girl by cutting her all over her body. Minor JA died instantly.
In relation to the defendant AT, from the analysis of the acts administered during the investigation, the examination of the scene of the incident, of the film footage, it is proven that he has consumed the elements of the criminal offense of "Intentional murder" provided for by Article 76 of the Criminal Code in the form of indirect intent ", the prosecution emphasizes.
The prosecution body is fully convinced that the defendant AT has consumed the elements of the criminal offense 'Murder with intent', despite the claims of the defense, regarding the qualification of the criminal fact as 'Murder by negligence'.
