Investigations into the murder of Pëllumb meta are still ongoing, as the dynamics of the event are still unclear. Sources indicate that the Prosecutor's Office has carried out the investigative experiment.
The two children and their mother were sent to a shooting range in Durrës, from where they fired weapons.

It is learned that today the results of the analyzes from the criminalistics laboratory have been released, regarding the traces found on the firearm with which the 50-year-old was shot.
It is reported that traces of the younger brother, Amarildo Meta, were found on the pistol. While the older brother Hysen Meta refused to shoot, saying that he had no idea how the gun could be used.
The prosecution has returned to the house where the crime took place, Hygerta Meta, as she claims that she is the author of the murder of her father, Pëllumb Meta. She explained the crime in the presence of experts, where the distance, trajectory and other details were determined.
The sending of Hygerta to the house where the macabre crime took place, came as a result of two experiments that the prosecution would carry out in an attempt to find out who is the real author of the event and what is the role of each accomplice.
The second experiment is related to the opening of the pit, where the dead body of the father of 4 children was found.
For the macabre crime, the murder and subsequent burial of the 49-year-old, two sons, Hyseni and Amarildo, as well as the daughter, Hygerta Meta, have been arrested. Initially, it was the girl who admitted that she had killed the father, as he was going to betroth her against her will, then the investigators came to the conclusion that the author of the murder is the son Hyseni. But, in court, Hygerta insisted that he committed the crime alone, which brought the investigation to zero.
Pellumb Meta was reported missing by Hyseni's son three days after he was killed inside the house and the body disappeared near the hut. After the discovery of the body, Hygerta confessed to the crime and said that her father had decided to betroth her to an immigrant against her will, while claiming that her father had systematically abused her.
