Hekuran Troplini, 20 years old, and Emiljano Pasha, 19 years old, were handcuffed by the Durrës police after an arms base was discovered in Shkallnur.
The two young men published pictures with a Kalashnikov in hand, which served as an advertisement that the two young men used to convince people interested in buying weapons by assuring them of the technical conditions of the weapon and their quality.
The price of one of them varied from 800 to 1000 euros.
What characterizes these young men who were arrested the day before by the Durrës police for allegedly supplying weapons and ammunition to criminal groups in this area is their attention to detail so that they do not fall into the police's net.
It is learned that they never touched the weapons they traded without a cover or gloves so as not to leave their fingerprints on them. The same care was shown when they took the ordered weapon to the interested person.
They removed the bolt from the weapon and hid it in old car parts so that even if they were caught by the police, the expert would not take out the regular weapon and in this way they would not be arrested for possession of a weapon. The removed part of the gun was sent at a later time to the person who bought the gun.
The Durrës police have doubts that Hekuran Troplini and Emiliano Pasha did not act alone but were part of a group whose members are being investigated and it is expected that there will be more arrests in the coming days.
This group used as a base abandoned or immigrant houses where they stored weapons. During the last operation, the police seized 4 Kalashnikov firearms, 20 combs, hundreds of ammunition, while there is also information about another weapons base of the same group that is expected to be hit by the police soon./TCH
