Skender and Bledar Ajdini appeared before the court today, accused of being involved in the murder of Faik Ajdini in the village of Zhapokike.
The Court of First Instance of Gjirokastër has imposed a prison sentence for Skënder Ajdini and an "obligation to appear" for his son Bledar Ajdini. Meanwhile, measures will be taken tomorrow for the perpetrator of the murder, Blerti Kanushi.
The event was recorded on August 19, 2024 in the village of Zhapokik of Memaliaj in Gjirokastër.
When the elderly man did not go home, the family started searching, finding him dead 24 hours later in a stream. From the preliminary examination of the corpse, it was understood that we were dealing with a murder caused by a cutting tool.
According to the police, Blerti Kanushi in collaboration with the citizen Skënder Ajdini, on August 19, 2024, around 07:00 in the morning, committed the knife murder of the citizen Faik Ajdini and then Blerti Kanushi left the scene. After committing the crime, Skëndër Ajdini and citizen Darovi Ajdini took active actions to prevent the discovery of the truth, making efforts to destroy the evidence of the crime. Citizen Bledar Ajdini, fully aware of the crime, supported the perpetrator.
