The event of 2023 took place in the town of Rrëshen. Kristian Marku was one of the people involved in this event and was accused together with his relatives for the attempted murder of Saimir Reçi.
Vlora was shocked today by a mafia execution near the city of Vlora, where the citizen identified as Kristian Marku alias Kristi Bardhi, was executed with a firearm.
It is reported that he was involved in a serious criminal event two years ago, in March 2023, where he faced accusations of attempted murder in cooperation, when together with other people he opened fire on Saimir Reçi's car, while the latter was inside her. Martin Bardhi was arrested for this event, while his son, Enrik Bardhi and grandson Krist Bardhi (tonight's victim) were declared wanted.
Saimir Reçi is the grandson of the late businessman, Kastriot Reçi, who was killed in 2020. Kastriot Reçi was killed by a sniper from the window of an apartment in the presence of a woman and her minor son. Even today, his murder has not been solved.

According to the investigations carried out by the Prosecutor's Office of the Lezhë Judicial District, the incident occurred after a collision between Saimir Reçi and several members of the Bardhi family, including Kristian Markun alias Kristi Bardhi, where they had fired at Reçi's vehicle.
How did the event happen?
Saimir Reçi and Enrik Bardhi got out of the vehicles and physically collided with each other in the middle of the city.
Afterwards, Enrik Bardhi went to the apartment and together with his father, Martin Bardhi, took a pistol and shot at the vehicle driven by Saimir Reçi, who turns out to be the grandson of Kastriot Reçi, the owner of of local television in Lezhë, killed by a sniper in January 2021 in Rrëshen.
The perpetrators shot at close range at the driver's side of the BME, as evidenced by the bullet marks, but the armored vehicle saved the young Reçi without injury. The police, who immediately arrived at the scene, declared father and son Enrik and Martin Bardhi wanted, who quickly left the scene. Intensive searches made it possible to arrest one of the wanted persons, and the police confirmed that Martin Bardhi was arrested, while his son and grandson were declared wanted.
Recit escaped the bullets as he was in his armored vehicle. Kristian Marku and his relatives were accused of "Attempted premeditated murder" and "Illegal possession of weapons and military ammunition".
Revenge in September 2023
In September 2023, Martin Bardhi, 59 years old, was executed in Rreshan. A reed comb was fired at him, while the bullets injured three other people. The perpetrators left the scene after the murder and have not yet been identified by the police.
Ilir Bardhoku, Olti Gjini, Indrit Bardhi were all three sitting at a table with Martin (Marku) Bardhi, when they were shot with automatic fire. The shooting killed 59-year-old Martin (Marku) Bardhi, who according to all information was also the target of this assassination. The serious incident occurred at around 10:40 in the victim's bar located in the center of Rrëshen. As for the perpetrators, they are suspected to have been 2 masked people who were driving an SUV that was found burned in the village of Gëziq in Mirdita.
In connection with his murder today, investigators have launched an investigation and are collecting evidence to clarify the circumstances of the assassination. The police have set up an investigative group and are searching the area where the 30-year-old was found dead, near the village of Novoselë on the Fier-Vlora axis.
