48-year-old Elvira Tahiraj, who in the early hours of Tuesday morning, killed her husband, 55-year-old Llazar Tahiraj, appeared before the Court of Saranda today by hitting him with an axe.
The session was held today, and at the end of it the Court of First Instance of Sarandë has decided to evaluate the arrest of the 48-year-old woman for the criminal offense of "murder due to family relations" as legal and has assigned her the security measure of "temporary confinement" in a psychiatric hospital".
In the court session, Elvira Tahiraj was defended by a lawyer appointed mainly by the state.
