The prosecutor's office of Elbasan has requested a total of 20 years in prison for Erjon Llapushi, who killed a waiter in Elbasan after a fight over a table.
Erjon Llapushi is the author of the macabre crime in a bar in Elbasan on October 2, 2021. Llapushi grabbed the waiter Gazment Kurmaku by the throat for a table, threatened him with a knife, and then killed him. While his accomplice, Luan Dulellari, did not make any move to stop his friend or protect the victim, but escaped.
Gazment Kurmaku, 57 years old, was killed for trivial reasons, for a table that had been reserved. He was killed by Erjon Llapushi, 33 years old, a person registered for criminal activity, violence and high social risk. The quarrel between them started for a reserved table, where it is learned that the head waiter informed Llapushi that she was busy and should not sit there.
Erjon Llapushi is accused of the criminal offense of "intentional murder" while Luan Dulellari is accused of not reporting a crime and supporting the author.
"The Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Court of First Instance announces that the investigation has been completed and criminal proceedings no. 1469 have been sent for trial, for the event that occurred on 02/10/2021 with the following citizens:
- Erjon Llapushi investigated under the security measure "Arrest in prison", accused of the criminal offense of "Deliberate murder" provided for by Article 76 of the Penal Code
- Luan Dulellari, investigated under the security measure "Arrest in prison", accused of the crimes criminal case of "Decriminalization of the crime" provided by article 300/1 of the Penal Code and "Supporting the author of the crime" provided by article 302/1 of the Penal Code, where citizen Gazmend Kurmaku remained a victim.
The event refers to the date 02.10.2021, where a conflict occurred in the premises of the subject "Rozafa Fish" in Labinot of Elbasan, between some customers and the employee of the restaurant named Gazmend Kormaku, who after an argument with the author was punched by the latter. As a result, the victim died on 07/10/2021.
The investigations were followed by the Head of the Prosecution, Mr. Kreshnik AJAZI," the announcement states.
